IRMA HALF-ASLEEP

Irma is half asleep. Dream and memory are strangely mixed up. Irma knows that when she wakes up and her boyfriend sleeping next to her also wakes up, she will tell him that she does not love him anymore, that they cannot be together. Irma wants to hold close to this half-dream state that is easy and homely, and in which Irma is perfectly detached from all the expected annoyances of waking life, including the inevitable separation.
