HEART OF A DOG

Eszter and Anna are going camping to close the summer together. The two girls are high school friends who have seen each other for the first time since graduation. While over the years Eszter has found her place in the film industry, working hard for professional success, Anna moved to Denmark with her partner and found peace in belonging to someone. Over the weekend by the lake, the girls realize what each of them hides beneath their armour: both Anna's unconditional trust in the unknown, which she uses to mask her indecisiveness, and Eszter's fear of failure and insecurity rise to the surface. Heart of a Dog deals with the delicate fabric of human relationships, or more precisely, their fading: are the shared memories enough to bridge the distance now between them, or is every effort just a vigil over dead things?
