BROKEN LAND

A reclusive rancher on the Texas/Mexico border (David Morse), haunted by the tragic death of his wife years earlier, shoots a young migrant woman (Jaklyn Bejarano) as she crosses his property. Threatened with investigation, the rancher must decide whether to turn the girl over to the authorities or to help her find her family inside the U.S., risking discovery by his son, a United States Border Patrol Agent (Bill Heck).
