1968 – RECONSTRUCTION OF A LOVE

In 1968, Miklós Tóth falls in love with Alexandra Parmenter. However, the protagonists of the story had no idea that they were merely pawns of the state security services. The two young people—Alexandra, a secretary at the British Embassy, and Miklós, an engineering student—were not only kept under constant surveillance, but their relationship was also “assisted” in various ways. The authorities “secured” the locations for their meetings, where secret audio recordings and photographs were taken of them. More than fifty years later, Miklós attempts to track down Alexandra.
