Critics’ jury

Culture journalist, film critic. He graduated in film studies at ELTE in 2012, since then he has been working as a freelance journalist. His reviews, reports and interviews have been published in different online and print journals and magazines such as Filmvilág, Revizor, VOX, Magyar Narancs, Recorder, Filmtett, and Kortárs Online. He has been the editor of the popKULT column on KULTer.hu since September 2020. In 2019 he received the Filmtett Award and the Kortárs Online Award.

Béla Balázs Award and László Cs. Szabó Award winning film critic, editor, teacher. From 1986 he was the editor of the film journal Filmvilág, then its deputy editor from 1998, and since 2010 he has been its editor-in-chief. Between 2000-2010 he was the editor-in-chief of the film site magyar.film.hu.

Film aesthete, film critic, film historian, university teacher at ELTE and other universities. He has published ten books, about 300 studies and reviews in a number of film journals, while he also contributed to two film lexicons. He edited and proofread a number of publications on film. He received the Béla Balázs Award in 2007 and the István Szőts Award in 2017.
